Anyankus Yall...and Bunny Fear Challenge!
So I am planning a Super Secret Bunny Edition of Undead America and I need your help to increase the fabulousness. So write me some Anyankus! (anya/anyanka haikus 5-7-5 style) Also, don't forget about the Bunny Fear challenge. Write anything from a 100 word drabble to a fan ficlit up to 2000 words describing Anya's bunny fear origin story. If you post them here...don't forget to sign in or leave your name in the body of the comment otherwise I won't know who sent it! Cheers!
Be patient little ones...
I pretty much have the writing done for episode 16...so now I just have to record and edit. Hopefully the next one will be in the bag and out by the weekend. I am in dress rehearsals for my theatre company at the moment (i did the set design...if you are in chicago and want to see it...let me know...i might be able to swing a discount!). Episode 16 will feature Part II of the Season 2 Spike Review, more Spike-kus, news of course, buffy season 8 comic book updates, season 8 stories and emails, Podcast Monster on the Big Blue Smurf, and a DIY Whedon on purchasing custom action figures. Also in a future podcast, I have an interview with Emma Paige Langley, the creator of the buffy fan film Forgotten Memories and a Bunny Edition of Undead America all about Anya where Brian and I will review Selfless. If you have any thoughts on Selfless please let me know via email or head to the Slay Alive forum to discuss them in this thread! I also had so much fun hearing everyone's Spikus...that I would love some Anyankus this time around!

Mp3 or Mp4?
Does anyone have a pref? If I switched to mp3's would people hate me? You would lose the click track, weblinks, and fun pics with every chapter...but if it would get more people to listen and make it easier for those that already listen than i have no problem with downgrading the fancy-ness...
Let me know kids.

Now is the time people...rally to save good tv or else we will all be stuck watching some trashy girls EARN the chance to dance on poles...I am pretty sure most strip clubs would be more than happy to let them do it. Why do I have to watch it on tv instead of funny, witty writing done by excellent actors....Mobilize!

Campaign for Gunn, Riley, Harmony, & Connor Action Figures!
I really feel that folks wanting to see Riley, Connor, Gunn, and Harmony in the regular line should write emails/letters to DST to voice your interest. It won't take long to do it...
Here is the email:
customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com
Here is the snail mail:
Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles, LLC., 1966 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD, 21093
Please make your email/letters short, conscise and spellchecked. Mention that you regularly purchase Buffy figures and would really like to see these four figures in the regular line. If we can generate interest in these among retailers, we increase our chances of getting DST to change their minds.
here is an example....
Dear _____________,
I am a huge Buffy/Angel fan and an avid collector of Buffy merchandise. I was very sad to learn that Diamond Select Toys is planning to end the regular line of action figures before giving us the final four starring characters Gunn, Riley, Harmony, and Conner. I would really love to see these figures executed in the regular line.
Sincerely,

Happy Ten Years of Buffy!
Wow...its pretty unbelievable how ten years just flew by. This fantastic little show has been off the air for about three years now and still not a week goes by without me revisiting an episode, reading a buffy book, or stalking the internet for news about its creator and cast. Buffy, and consequently Joss Whedon you beautiful man you, were crater-makers for me. I think I can honestly say that Buffy changed my life. I am sure this is the same for so many of you out there as well. Thanks Joss...thanks cast and crew of Buffy!

A friend in need...a friend indeed
Head over to Michael and Evo's website and click on the Joe Fund paypal link and send whatever you can to help a fellow podcaster out. He has inoperable cancer and having recently experienced that with my dear grandfather...any way to keep Joe's life filled with friends and fun and not bills is a very good thing.

Check out this great Buffy Fan Film: Forgotten Memories
While researching a new feature for the podcast focusing on fan-created content, I came across this great buffy/angel crossover fan film called Forgotten Memories. I highly recommend it. Its a bitch to download but worth the wait. I will be doing a review in my next podcast and hopefully an interview with the writer/creator/actress. So while waiting for Buffy Season 8...check out this super-fan's versions of what happened after Chosen!
UPDATE! They have uploaded the film in nice little bite-sizes on YouTube....
