New Buffy and Angel DVD Boxsets 65% for a short time....

They have repackaged the dvd sets in slimmer cases. They should take up less space that way...but I am guessing that means that the dvds are stacked on each other in the case.  Which means the get extra scratchy.  It does not look like they have updated any of the original disc art, which would have been a nice update.

Hulu loves Joss Whedon! Two Bloody Thumbs Up!

Okay, I know I am really really late to the Hulu thing. You know it's bad when your mom has used something on the internets before you have. So I decided last night to give it a try after failing yet again to get the netflix instant play to work on my Mac...grumble. Verdict: Hulu was fabulous!

I was also pleased to see that they have a whole channel dedicated to horror! You can watch episodes of long cancelled sci-fi and horror shows like The Invisible Man and the awesome American Gothic! There are clips from upcoming films like 30 Days of Night as well as full on movies like The Birds and Aliens. All without any cost, nothing to download, and limited commercials. You do need speedy internet and sometimes the quality can be a bit gritty. But hey...free goes along way. Best yet, you can watch our beloved Buffy, Angel and Joss Whedon's latest, The Dollhouse!

I am still alive..podcast coming...

I know you are all sick of my lies on the subject...but contrary to popular belief, I am still alive and there is a podcast coming. I have had one recorded for eons...but at this point it's probably better to just re-record the thing and have done with it. I will probably throw up a sloppy unedited version this weekend. While at the Comic Con...which was awesome...I got really sick and lost my voice, which I only just got back yesterday...so my plan is to get some cheap wine...drink it...then record a podcast for ya all about Destiny, The Twlight Saga, and the song "Wild Horses" from Buffy "the Prom"...so if you have any last words on the subject, speak now.

In the meantime, the last of the Twilight novels has come out and I am steadily reading it. There is also a press and promo blitz for the upcoming Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire novels tv show on HBO called Bad Blood...I am sooooo looking forward to this. For on this and other vampire fiction laters....
